Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the websites and digital products operated by Alecta Labs LLC ("Alecta", "we", "us"), including alecta.company and cursolibre.com. By using our websites or purchasing any of our products, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

1. About Alecta Labs LLC

Alecta Labs LLC is a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America. Our business operations are coordinated from Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil.

2. Products and services we operate

Alecta Labs is a holding entity that designs, builds and operates a portfolio of digital products. The Terms below apply to all products we operate, with product-specific notes where relevant.

Cursolibre — Online courses (cursolibre.com)

Cursolibre is an online education platform where customers purchase access to recorded video courses, written materials and downloadable resources. Cursolibre is the platform on which the actual sale of our courses takes place.

Treinu — Fitness application (treinu.fit)

Treinu is a fitness tracking and workout management application currently in development. Specific terms for Treinu will be published when the product becomes available to the public.

3. How to purchase a course on Cursolibre

The purchase of a Cursolibre course follows these steps:

1. Visit cursolibre.com and browse the available courses.
2. Select the course you wish to enrol in and click the purchase button on the course page.
3. Create a Cursolibre account or sign in to your existing account, providing your name and a valid email address.
4. Complete the checkout. Payment is processed by one of our third-party payment service providers. The specific provider may vary depending on your country and the payment method selected. Accepted methods typically include credit card, debit card, Pix, boleto and other regional payment options.
5. Once the payment is approved, you receive an email confirmation and immediate access to the course inside your Cursolibre account.

We do not offer offline, in-person or physical-shipping versions of our courses. Every product sold by Cursolibre is delivered as digital content.

4. Account and eligibility

To purchase or access our courses you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a course on your own. If you are under 18, you may use the services only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You may not share your account, transfer it, or allow anyone else to access courses you have purchased.

5. Service delivery

Courses are delivered as digital content (video lessons, written materials and downloadable files) accessible through your Cursolibre account. Delivery is immediate: as soon as the payment is approved by the relevant payment processor, the course is unlocked in your account.

Unless explicitly stated on the course page, access to a purchased course is granted for the lifetime of the platform, with no time limit.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the platform is available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance windows or temporary outages may occur.

6. Pricing, currency and taxes

Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout and may vary depending on your country. The price you see at the moment of purchase is the price you pay. Any applicable taxes are either included in the displayed price or shown separately at checkout.

We may update prices at any time. Price changes do not affect courses you have already purchased.

7. Payment processing

All payments for courses sold on Cursolibre are processed by third-party payment service providers. The specific provider used depends on your country, the payment method selected and applicable regional rules. These providers handle credit card, debit card, Pix, boleto and other local payment methods, and are responsible for the secure capture, transmission and authorisation of your payment data.

We do not store your full payment card data on our servers. All sensitive payment information is handled directly by the relevant payment processor in compliance with industry security standards (PCI DSS).

Each payment processor publishes its own privacy notice on its official website. The current list of payment providers we work with is available on request at hello@alecta.company.

8. Refunds and cancellation

You have the right to request a refund of your purchase under the conditions described in our Refund Policy. The Refund Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and forms an integral part of them.

In short: customers in Brazil have a 7-day right of withdrawal under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Defence Code (Lei 8.078/1990). Refund requests must be sent to hello@alecta.company. See the full Refund Policy for the complete procedure, deadlines and exceptions.

9. Intellectual property and license

All content available through our products — including videos, audio, text, images, downloadable materials, software, brand names and logos — is owned by Alecta Labs LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws.

When you purchase a course, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and view that content for your personal, non-commercial educational use.

You may not:

• Copy, download (except as expressly permitted), record, redistribute, publish or share course content with any third party;
• Resell, rent or sublicense access to your account or to any course;
• Use any course content to train artificial intelligence or machine-learning models;
• Remove or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use our services to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation;
• Infringe the rights of others;
• Distribute malware, spam, phishing or other harmful content;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or to other users' accounts;
• Reverse-engineer, scrape or mass-download our content.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice, and without refund where the violation justifies it.

11. Service availability and changes

We continuously improve our products. We may add, modify or discontinue features at any time. If a course is permanently removed from the catalogue and you have already purchased it, we will provide either continued access or a fair pro-rated refund, at our reasonable discretion.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Alecta Labs LLC's total cumulative liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of our services is limited to the amount you paid to us for the affected product in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including consumer-protection statutes.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, applicable law or business practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent change was made. Material changes will be communicated by email or by a prominent notice on our websites. Continued use of our services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Sheridan County, Wyoming.

Brazilian consumers: If you are a consumer resident in Brazil, you remain protected by the Brazilian Consumer Defence Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor — Lei 8.078/1990) and may bring claims before the consumer's place of residence as permitted by article 101 of that Code. Nothing in these Terms reduces or excludes the protections granted to you by Brazilian consumer law.
